Staying young forever

To remain young forever is every one’s dream. You can be 18 at heart till you die, but sadly your physical appearance may not keep up with that attitude. While you may not look like what you do in your graduation photo forever, you can look some ten years younger than your biological age – and without going under the knife. Read these few tips to know how to trim those unwanted years from your appearance.

Drinking plenty of water: Drinking plenty of water is not only good for your health, but it’s also a beauty secret for men and women alike. Drinking plenty of water helps flush harmful toxins and wastes out of your body. It also moisturizes your skin and keeps your body well hydrated. It is recommended that you drink at least six to eight glasses of water a day.

Protect yourself from the sun: Too much of time in the sun not only darkens our skin but it's harmful ultraviolet rays also dries it out. This causes premature wrinkling that will make you look even older. When you have to stay out in the sun for long periods, use a sun block or dress protectively.

Don’t smoke: If bad health doesn’t scare you maybe the thought of getting older will prompt you to quit smoking. Smoking dries your skin, causing fine lines and wrinkles, often prematurely. Smoking also puts in serious toxins into your body.

Exercise regularly: Exercise will help you maintain good posture, alleviate wrinkle causing stress, and increase blood flow thus keeping your whole body well oxygenated, and fit.

Think positive: A positive mind radiates a different kind of beauty. A negative mind is a stressful mind and it shows on the face in the forms of frowns and scowls and causing your face to wrinkle.

Get enough sleep: You can always tell if a person has not had enough sleep by the tired look on his face. It is recommended that an adult get at least 7 hours of sleep everyday. However this may actually differ in people depending upon their body clock. Some people may get enough rest in 5 hours of sleep while some may need even 9.
