Facial masks recipes

The foods we consume reflect on our skin. Oily food may develop rashes on our skin and junk food could show on our waistlines. So what you consume plays a great role in how you look. It is no wonder that dieticians and fitness experts are always telling you to eat this and avoid that. An interesting fact is that you can also apply food products on your face to enhance its beauty. And more interestingly, this can be done by oneself in ones own kitchen!

There are many facial masks that can be concocted in your kitchen. Put on your apron or beauty tunic and get down to some beautiful business ! Mix 3 tablespoons of lemon juice with 2 tablespoon of honey and 3 tablespoons of yogurt. Beat 1 egg white separately and then sift it into the other concoction. Leave the mix on you face until dry and tight. Rinse with warm water.

Another good facial mask, especially beneficial to dry skin is mainly made from bananas. To make this facial mask mash 1 banana and mix with 1 tablespoon of honey and1a tablespoon of brown sugar. Apply until dry and tight and rinse off with water.

A cup of clean fresh rose petals mixed with 1 and ½ cups of cream or buttermilk are the basics for another wonderful facial mask. Heat the ingredients in a double boiler until water boils. Remove from heat and let cool. Pour mixture into blender, and blend well. These mixtures are quick and uncomplicated, and they can increase the health of your skin instantly.
